My name is Hunter Clennan, I am a Proffesional MMA Fighter, amateur Kickboxing champion, a student of journalism, and a man on a mission.
That mission? To provide you an insiders view into the fight community here in Vancouver Canada, and offer real perspective and commentary on combat sports around the world. Vancouver might not have a lot of big names yet… but fighting culture in this city runs deep. I’ve seen it firsthand and been a part of the community for almost 20 years.
Tuff Newz was founded with the same grit and drive that fuels me in the gym and in the cage. This platform exists to spotlight underground events, gyms, local legends, respected coaches, and the growing pool of fighters from this city who are knocking on the door of something bigger. Something beyond regional shows. We’re talking UFC gold. International stages. Global recognition.
